Putty adapts to whatever you throw at it – sculpt it into a preamp, overdrive, fuzz, or a straight-up boost. Putty’s versatility is built on two secret weapons of sound design. On one hand, the massively underrated Boss FA-1 preamp that features a crystal clear EQ and sparkling highs. On the other hand, saturation instead of typical clipping stages, which brings smooth, musical compression that maintains note clarity even at serious gain levels.
